The New Jersey School Boards Association, in collaboration with AC Central, contracts with a number of Atlantic City hotels to offer discounted pricing on hotel rooms for Workshop. All housing reservations are being handled by AC Central.
Lodging Reservations can be made online or by downloading a housing form. The completed housing form can be faxed to AC Central at 609-383-8616. Policies on payment and cancellations are detailed on the form. For attendees, Workshop registration and hotel reservations must be handled by the school business administrator.
SCAM ALERT: BEWARE OF FALSE ROOM OFFERS Unfortunately, several exhibitors and attendees each year fall prey to accommodation offers from fraudulent companies — most notably a scammer known as Exhibitors Housing Services. These hotel providers present themselves as our official hotel booking partner. Note that these groups are in no way affiliated with NJSBA and their claims of having access to rooms are false. NJSBA cannot guarantee any hotel rooms that are not booked through AC Central.
The last day to pay for/make hotel reservations is Sept. 22, 2024.
Acknowledgements will be sent after each reservation booking, modification and/or change. To receive acknowledgements, it is mandatory to supply your email address and allow emails from [email protected] to get past your spam filters. Questions about housing and general inquiries about Atlantic City can be answered by calling 1-866-790-9941 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by emailing [email protected].
Any changes and cancellations must be made in writing and either faxed to 609-383-8616 or emailed to [email protected]. There will be no refunds or credits issued for any changes or cancellations made after Oct. 16, 2024. Hotel reservations, changes or cancellations will not be accepted by telephone.
Travel Restrictions Individuals whose one-way commute to the Atlantic City Convention Center exceeds 50 miles may obtain reimbursement from their school district, charter school, or renaissance school for overnight lodging for Monday, Oct. 21, Tuesday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024. Please read the waiver letter for more information on travel restrictions.
Note to School Districts To be exempt from the 14% room tax, you MUST settle the account with a District Voucher or District Check.
