The New Jersey School Boards Association welcomes your participation at our annual conference, Workshop, cosponsored by NJASA and NJASBO. To ensure that all guests have the best possible experience, please review, and adhere to, our Code of Conduct.

Expected behaviors.

  • Engaged listening.
  • Courtesy toward other attendees, event staff, and everyone you encounter.
  • Being mindful of your speech and actions.

Behavior and conduct that will not be tolerated.

  • Harassment, assault, intimidation, stalking, or bullying.
  • Discriminatory or abusive speech.
  • Prejudicial comments or images related to race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, gender identity or expression, affectional or sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, disability or nationality, appearance or other personal characteristics.
  • Repeated interruptions during sessions or other events.
  • Real or implied threat of harm including physical, professional, or financial.
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior.

Attendees violating the Code of Conduct may receive a verbal warning, or be removed from the event and prohibited from attending future events.
